The MCP SKG is a registry of MCP servers allowing to compose (chain) them to implement compound systems with agentic workflows.

Currently, the MCP defines the types of the inputs but not of the results. In the SKG we infer the results allowing them in turn be consumed by other servers. That can allow an ensemble of agents to collaborate through composition.

The OAKS focus on knowledge naturally marries the registry with an idea of an underlying Knowledge Graph as agentic memory. Agents can collaboratively add metadata and data to the nodes and relationships.
